Our business model allows us to manage stock precisely, with all products stored in one location. This means JunkFood can collect surplus food from a single place: our warehouse in Brøndby.

Why are you a corporate partner of JunkFood?

nemlig.com is a member of “Danmark mod Madspild” (Denmark Against Food Waste), and we have therefore committed to the shared ambition of halving our food waste by 2030. We work to reduce food waste in every possible way, which aligns well with JunkFood’s significant need for quality surplus food to support its daily operations.
Supporting JunkFood is an important part of nemlig.com’s vision of a better life for everyone in Denmark – including the most vulnerable people in our society.

The Partnership

JunkFood was founded on the idea of ensuring that everyone has access to a meal and fighting hunger among those in our society who lack the necessary resources. This brings a real and important sense of dignity to vulnerable people.

When we started in 2003, we transported everything on a Christiania cargo bike, equipped with a broom, mops, water, and plenty of leg power. Today, we have 38 fantastic employees and provide property maintenance services to 480 housing associations in Copenhagen and the surrounding area.
