The JunkFood team is united by one mission: to ensure that people living on the streets have access to a warm, nutritious meal every day, all year round. Our vision is to provide meals to people in need across Denmark and to help young people facing challenges reconnect with society through a kitchen training programme at JunkFood.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
JunkFood’s volunteers help us deliver daily meals to shelters, collect surplus food, provide IT support, and much more. Their contribution is invaluable and essential to making JunkFood’s mission a success.
When you volunteer to deliver dinner, our kitchen also prepares dinner for you and your family. Together, we make a difference.
JunkFood’s volunteers are invited to annual meetings where we share updates on JunkFood’s progress and plans for the future. Sometimes we welcome a guest who receives support from JunkFood, or take a walk with Gadens Stemmer through Vesterbro to gain a firsthand insight into life on the streets.
